IT Mentors has extensive experience consulting and training for large enterprise organizations which run heterogeneous computing environments. We have worked in these organizations for nearly 20 years providing architecture and development solutions.

Our experience includes re-architecting network solutions at Southern California Edison, a global energy company, conducting a world-wide Windows roll-out at Morgan Stanley, a global investment company, and migrating large financial institutions such as The Bank of New York and UBS to distributed solutions.

We have spent the last eight years helping organizations implement Business Intelligence solutions using the Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server platforms. In addition, we have been deeply involved with the Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007 team, training over a thousand partners world-wide.

In 2007, we started an interactive services division that focuses on dynamic Web technologies such as Adobe Flash® and Microsoft Silverlight®. We continue to offer a broad range of classes for developers, including courses for Microsoft .NET (C#, VB, ASP.NET, Silverilght) and Java (J2EE, JSP, JSF).

Our approach to training is client-focused; it starts well before a class is delivered and continues long after the class is finished. We typically start working with the senior management team and then expand to include the senior engineers. We have consulted with and trained Architecture Engineers to help provide solutions which meet their business needs. Every one of these solutions requires strong understanding of multiple, connected systems. At this customer level, there is never a reliance on a single product. The focus is on solutions - combining and connecting systems together to meet the needs of the business. This approach is what makes IT Mentors different.
